SD36 at 2024 Marketfest

June 13 – July 25 Marketfest Booth

We are organizing by two hour shifts.  You can work the 5:30 to 7:30 shift.  You will help with setup and then run our fantastic game, talk with patriots, and support our visiting candidates.  The second shift starts at 7:30 and ends with booth take down.

Great New Game

I worked Marketfest last year.  We tried a number of activities to get people to enter the booth and engage.  This included answering a survey, a kayak drawing, and games for kids.  By far the most effective activity was the kids games.  Even more so when there was the chance to get some candy or a prize.  Marketfest is filled with young families.  Hundreds of children pass by.  Mom and Dad just want a fun day and are trying to keep the kids happy and engaged.  The kids will drag their parents in when they see the candy and toys.  As the kids play, you will have a chance to meet with the parents and get to know them.  

We will also have a social media campaign where we take a photo with the statue of Liberty and post it on social media.
